I was doing a 1031 exchange and so had a 45 day window in which to buy homes to avoid a tax event. He started well before by showing me what was available and the value of those homes. We looked at over 20 homes BEFORE the time window opened so I had a very good idea of what I could expect in value. I ended up buying 4 homes in the span of the 45 day window and was very happy with the results. These were rental properties and Jaime let me know what I could expect in the way of rents and all of my costs going forward with my ownership ( HOA dues, taxes, etc).
