We are not from Raleigh but wanted to invest in a rental property there. Since we know nothing about the area, Mary Welch came in well recommended to us from a friend who is a real estate investor in the RTP area for the last 10 years. Mary absolutely did go above and beyond from just being a real estate agent representing us. She took time to understand our goals and used several precise financial tools to help us narrow down our choices and forecast the rental income as well as the resale value for each choice. On our first trip to Raleigh she helped us scout the various neighborhoods to give us an idea of the local market. On our second trip, we focused on two neighborhoods and by the end of the day she helped us make an offer which led to a final contract. Mary helped us with securing the tenants and negotiated the lease through the next year for us. She also found a lender and a settlement agency for us. She arranged for a handyman to perform necessary repairs before renting. She is both professional and personable. She is patient and spent a great deal of dedicated time guiding us. She is definitely not pushy as most agents might be. We will be sure to recommend her to our friends going forward.

Buying a home, in a completely new city, can be difficult. Add the fact that my significant other and I are quite particular with our design choices, this new home search could have become quite the daunting task! But Mary stepped in and become the perfect solution for our first home buying adventure. Through consistent emails and phone conversations she quickly learned the style of home we desired and searched for new construction and existing homes that would please our taste. Across multiple trips down to Raleigh Mary planned detailed agendas so we could discover new neighborhoods and properties to match our search.
